WSP in Dublin is seeking a Resident Archaeologist for MetroLink-related sites. Based in designated MetroLink offices, you will attend site works (including weekends) in the Dublin region, working five days a week to supervise archaeological activities.

You must hold a Level 8 Archaeology qualification with substantial post-graduate experience, have a driving licence and access to a vehicle for site inspections. The role supports administration of archaeological services contracts and reporting.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified archaeologist.
• Demonstrated experience on projects under a Code of Practice.
• Proven ability to manage excavation and post-excavation work.

Responsabilités

• On-site supervision, coordination, record keeping of Light Rail Projects including MetroLink.
• Review method statements, progress reports, excavation reports, and heritage reports.
• Keep a comprehensive diary and detailed work history of archaeological services and incidents.
• Ensure that reports, diaries, and records are kept and available for inspection.
• Attend site meetings and keep other staff informed on matters affecting their work.
