Qualifications
10 years relevant post-graduate experience, or 5 years with Level 9 qualification.
Experience in preparation of archaeological licence applications.
Holds a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Responsibilities
Support the Project Archaeologist for Light Rail projects.
On-site supervision and record keeping.
Review various archaeological reports and method statements.
Maintain comprehensive diaries of archaeological services.
Assist in the administration of archaeological services contracts.
Skills
Qualified archaeologist
Experience in archaeological excavation
Ability to manage large scale archaeological investigations
Knowledge of Irish archaeology and heritage legislation
Site supervision skills
Experience with archaeological heritage impact assessments
Education
