Job summary

Sunbeam House Services in North Wicklow is seeking a Person in Charge (PIC) to lead our Day Services team supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. The role focuses on turnout of person-centred services, quality, and community involvement.

You will provide leadership, drive rights-based practice, and work with families and multi-disciplinary teams to empower individuals to live fulfilling lives within their communities.

Qualifications

• CORU registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Social Care Worker or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience
• Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
• Commitment to person-centred, rights-based approaches
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle

About the Role

As Person in Charge, you will provide leadership, guidance and oversight to a vibrant day service supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and autism.

You will play a key role in creating an environment where individuals are empowered to achieve their personal goals, develop independence, and participate fully in their communities.
