Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Lead Caregiver in Ireland to lead shifts, provide hands-on support, and mentor the caregiving team in a senior living setting. You will ensure quality care, coach staff on hospitality and documentation, and monitor resident changes in collaboration with the care team.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration certifications, plus strong communication and decision-making skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications preferred.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure alignment with ISP.
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support onboarding and mentor new team members.
• Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions.
