Job summary

Connected Health in Ireland is seeking a Healthcare Supervisor to lead care teams and support clients living in their own homes. You will mentor Healthcare Assistants, monitor quality of care, and ensure compliance with company policies across community settings.

The role requires 1–2 years in homecare, a QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support award (Level 6 supervisory if available), and a full driving licence. A leadership mindset and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Background in health or social care.
• 1–2 years’ experience in homecare.
• QQI Level 5 Major award in Healthcare Support (or equivalent).
• Level 6 qualification in Supervisory Management (desirable or in progress).
• Full driving licence with access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Spot checks with healthcare assistants within the community.
• Client reviews regarding ongoing care.
• Staff introductions in line with company policies.
• Staff shadowing to uphold Health & Safety policies.
• Emergency rapid response for new packages and discharges.
• Evaluate and monitor quality of care and report concerns to CCM.
• Support and assist care team development.
• Update journal notes from clients’ homes.
• Delivery of care plans and PPE to clients’ homes.
