Job summary

Spring Life Ltd in Ireland seeks an experienced Team Leader to provide practical leadership and coordinate shifts, guiding colleagues to ensure residents’ needs, rights and safety influence daily care decisions.

The role requires a recognised Social Care qualification at NFQ Level 7 or above, current CORU registration as a Social Care Worker, and at least three years of relevant social care experience with proven team leadership.

Qualifications

• Recognised Social Care qualification (NFQ Level 7 or higher).
• CORU registration as a Social Care Worker.
• At least 3 years’ relevant social care experience.
• Experience leading shifts or coordinating a care team.

Responsibilities

• Lead allocated shifts and coordinate staff duties in line with residents’ needs and care plans.
• Provide direct care while modelling professional, person-centred practice.
• Support staff induction, supervision and ongoing professional development.
• Ensure safe handovers and continuity of care across shifts.
• Engage with families and professionals to support holistic care.
