Job summary

Nua Healthcare Services, based in Carrickmacross, County Monaghan, Ireland, is seeking a Shift Lead Manager to support the Person in Charge and lead a care team within our residential and supported living settings. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care, ensuring safety, and coordinating multidisciplinary input to meet service users' needs.

Ideal applicants will have strong leadership, excellent communication, and a good grasp of relevant standards and legislation.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Fetac in Healthcare / Social Care or working towards Level 7/8 in Social Care.
• Full driving licence is required.
• Knowledge of standards and legislation relevant to the area.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Person in Charge and manage daily centre duties.
• Supervise team members; coordinates input from Clinical Team and other departments.
• Mentor and lead the team with regular supervisions, appraisals, and meetings.
• Oversee service delivery across shifts and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Adhere to risk assessments, SOPs, GDPR, and company policies at all times.
