Job summary

MCS Group | Your Specialist Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a Lead Business Analyst for a banking transformation in Dublin City Centre. This is a day-rate contract with 3 days onsite in Dublin, initially 6 to 12 months and urgent interviews next week.

You will lead senior stakeholder workshops, quickly understand complex banking processes and drive practical outcomes across the programme, combining Lean methods with robust BA practices to deliver value in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Lead Business Analyst | Banking | Day-Rate Contract

I'm working with a banking client who is looking for an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join a key transformation programme.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can lead senior stakeholder workshops, get quickly underneath complex business processes and drive clear, practical outcomes across the programme.

You will need strong banking experience and a proven background in Lean process improvement, process mapping and business analysis within large, regulated environments.

What you'll be doing

• Lead discovery sessions and workshops with senior business and technology stakeholders
• Map and analyse current and future-state processes
• Identify process inefficiencies, risks and opportunities for improvement
• Drive Lean and continuous-improvement activity across the programme
• Gather, challenge and document business requirements
• Produce process maps, user stories, business requirements and supporting documentation
• Work closely with product, technology, operations and delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered properly
• Help shape solutions across a complex banking environment

What you'll need

• 10+ year's Business Analysis experience
• Strong, recent banking or financial services experience is essential
• Proven experience leading complex transformation or change programmes
• Strong Lean / continuous-improvement background
• Excellent process mapping experience, including current and future-state mapping
• Comfortable leading workshops and challenging senior stakeholders where needed
• Experience working across business and technology teams
• Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder-management skills
