Position Overview
We are looking for a Business Analyst – Lean with strong process analysis and continuous improvement capabilities to analyse end-to-end workflows, identify non-value-added activities and design optimized future-state processes.
The successful candidate will work with stakeholders across different organizational levels to identify improvement opportunities, facilitate Lean workshops and support sustainable process transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse end-to-end workflows, map current-state processes, identify non-value-added activities and design optimized future states.
- Establish FTE baselines and perform qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
- Apply Lean tools including 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Just-In-Time (JIT), Poka-Yoke, Standardized Work and Root Cause Analysis.
- Use problem-solving techniques including 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams and A3 problem-solving.
- Collect and analyse baseline process metrics including takt time, cycle time, lead time and throughput rates.
- Use statistical analysis software such as Minitab or workflow modelling platforms where appropriate.
- Conduct Gemba walks and engage with frontline teams and executive stakeholders.
- Facilitate focused Kaizen events, cross-functional problem-solving workshops and process design sessions.
- Drive continuous improvement and help teams sustain process improvements after the engagement.
- Connect operational improvements to financial metrics, customer value and overall business strategy.
- Manage project scope, milestones, timelines and cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet client objectives.
- Document current-state processes, pain points, improvement opportunities and proposed future-state changes.
- Work closely with subject-matter experts and programme stakeholders to gather information and develop improvement solutions.
