Job summary

Action-Recruitment-Europe in Dublin seeks a General Manager to lead a brand-new high-end hostel as it prepares for opening towards the end of 2026 / early 2027. You will own the operation from the outset, shaping guest experience, team culture, and day-to-day standards of a new property.

Qualifications

• Previous General Manager/DGM experience within a comparable hospitality operation.
• Experience managing a sizeable, fast-paced property and multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong commercial and financial understanding.
• Genuine focus on guest experience and service standards.
• Ability to recruit, lead, develop, and motivate a diverse team.
• Strong operational organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence working in an opening or pre-opening environment.
• Hands-on, visible leadership style, balanced with strategic thinking.
• Energy and adaptability to thrive in a constantly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee launch and ongoing operation of the venue.
• Contribute to build-up to opening, establish team and standards.
• Ensure guest experience is consistently strong post-live.
