Job summary

STERIS is seeking a Team Leader, Laboratory Operations to organise and supervise a team of Senior Technologists and Technicians within the Laboratory. You will lead, train and motivate the team, manage performance, and ensure daily targets are met under the guidance of the Supervisor, Laboratory Operations.

The role requires coordinating with the Supervisor to maintain smooth lab operations, emphasizing safety, quality, and on-time delivery in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in a Laboratory role with senior responsibilities.
• Proven ability to manage people in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Experience interfacing with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of ISO 17025 and GMP requirements for laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Organise and supervise a team of laboratory personnel to achieve targets in the daily schedule.
• Assign tasks based on individual strengths to maximise productivity.
• Ensure on-time delivery for the customer and highlight issues to the supervisor.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to direct reports.
