Job summary

FRS Recruitment is seeking a Director of Laboratory Operations in Ireland, to provide strategic and operational leadership across a GMP laboratory organisation. You will shape quality/compliance, customer delivery and financial performance while guiding a senior leadership team.

I'm currently partnering with a global life sciences organisation to appoint a Director of Laboratory Operations.

This is a significant leadership opportunity for an experienced laboratory executive looking to influence strategy, lead large-scale GMP operations and develop high performing scientific teams.

The successful individual will provide strategic and operational leadership across a GMP laboratory organisation, with responsibility for quality, compliance, customer delivery, operational performance, financial management and the continued development of an experienced leadership team.

We're looking to speak with leaders who have experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO laboratory environments, with a strong background in:

• GMP laboratory operations


• Quality Control and analytical testing


• Method validation, release testing and stability programmes


• Leading large multidisciplinary laboratory teams through senior managers
