Job summary

ProSource Group is seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager in Cork to support the delivery of major building projects on site. You will work closely with senior Project Managers to ensure quality, safety and programme adherence.

The ideal candidate has a construction-related degree and 2–3 years’ experience in project or site management, strong organisational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with MS Project is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years’ experience in construction project management or site management (placement or graduate experience considered).
• Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with delivery from inception to completion.
• Coordinate daily site activities with teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor schedules, budgets and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
• Support construction documentation and reporting.
• Identify and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across projects.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in managing large-scale building projects, while working alongside experienced Project Managers. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with the delivery of construction projects from inception to completion.
