Job summary

Shareridge Ltd. is seeking a Junior Planner for our Castlebar Office, Co. Mayo. You will assist in program planning, analysis, and updates on civil and utilities projects across Ireland, reporting to the Pre-Construction and Planning Manager.

The ideal candidate has a third level engineering qualification and 1–2 years Civils contracting experience, strong IT skills, and is proficient with MS Project to maintain schedules and records.

Qualifications

• A third level qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1-2 years' Civils contracting experience is advantageous.
• Excellent IT skills and knowledge of planning software including MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining and updating project programmes using MS Project.
• Support project teams by gathering progress updates and keeping schedules up to date.
• Pro-actively monitor progress on a weekly basis.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
• Help prepare progress reports and programme updates for stakeholders.
• Use project management tools to track key milestones and deadlines.
• Assist with contingency planning when project timelines change.
• Provide administrative and planning support to the Pre-Construction and Planning Manager.
