Job summary

Shareridge Limited, a leading civil engineering provider in Ireland, invites applications for a full-time Planning Co-ordinator based at our Head Office in Castlebar. You will assist in program planning, analysis and updates, liaising with project teams nationwide to keep programmes current.

You will create, maintain and review work programmes using MS Project, monitor weekly progress, and prepare reports and forecasts for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• A third level qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in a Civils Contracting environment is advantageous.
• Excellent IT skills and knowledge of planning software including MS Project.
• Strong and accurate record keeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Creating, maintaining and reviewing a programme of work, utilising MS Project.
• Liaising with project teams to review and update current programmes.
• Proactively monitoring progress on a weekly basis.
• Working in an organised system to deliver outputs within stringent timelines.
• Producing progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients and stakeholders.
• Using project management tools to plan timeframes.
• Assisting in the planning of contingency programmes in case timeframes change.
• Provide detailed support and assistance to the Pre-Construction and Planning Manager as needed.
