Job summary

Unified Communications Support Engineer / Administrator (Junior) – Microsoft Teams is based in Dublin with hybrid work. You will provide Level 2 support for the Microsoft 365 environment, focusing on Teams, unified communications, mobile voice and data services, and MDM.

The role entails incident resolution, administration of Teams, service availability, and continuous improvement of communications platforms.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in an ICT Helpdesk Support role.
Available to start 9 October 2026.
Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate Certificate required.
NFQ Level 6+ in computing or equivalent qualification.
Experience with CompTIA A+ or ITIL v4 is desirable.
CEFR C2 proficiency or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues and provide resolutions.
Update and manage the Service Desk management console.
Provide timely handling of service requests and incidents reports.
Support colleagues with documentation, coaching and knowledge sharing.
Ensure Teams Client/Server configuration, administration and security.
Monitor ticket queues to maintain SLA adherence.
Collaborate with other administrators and stakeholders on compliance and governance for Teams.
Train and support Teams users and administrators.
Manage teams, channels, chats, and apps in Teams.
