Job summary

Barden | B Corp is partnering with a financial services client in Cork to recruit an early-career IT support professional. You will provide hands-on help with hardware and connectivity, travelling to various sites to resolve issues and support the IT Manager as the function grows.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates or individuals with some support experience, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a small team with hands-on responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Recent IT graduate or early-career professional with some support experience.
• Comfortable with hands-on hardware troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
• Driver's licence with access to own car; travel to Cork sites required.
• Keen to learn and grow in a small, expanding IT team.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support to the business, covering hardware, connectivity and day-to-day technical issues.
• Collaborate with and support the IT Manager as the department develops.
• Travel to Cork sites to resolve issues directly as needed.
• Learn and develop within an emerging IT function from an early stage.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Provide hands on IT support to the business, covering hardware, connectivity and day to day technical issues.
• Work closely with, and support, the organisation’s IT Manager as the department continues to build out.
• Travel to the organisation’s various sites across Cork to resolve issues directly, as needed.
• A genuine opportunity to learn and develop within a growing IT function from an early stage.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Early career IT professional - a recent graduate (e.g. Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or similar) or someone with a small amount of relevant support experience.
• Comfortable with hands-on troubleshooting of hardware and connectivity issues.
• A full, clean driving licence and access to your own car are essential, as travel to sites is a core part of the role.
• Keen to learn, proactive, and happy working as part of a small, growing team.
