Job summary

Datapac in Dublin is recruiting for an on-site IT support role combining remote and office-based work. You will handle hardware and software issues, manage tickets, and support hardware refresh projects across print and personal computing environments.

The role requires at least 1 year in a customer-facing IT support or technical service setting, strong troubleshooting ability, and a valid manual driving licence.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a customer-focused IT support or technical services role.
  • Hardware/break-fix experience essential.
  • HP certifications desirable or willingness to obtain them.
  • Manual driving licence is essential.
  • Excellent communication and customer-first approach.
  • Experience using service desk or ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Providing remote and onsite technical support across print and personal computing environments.
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and technical issues within agreed service levels.
  • Managing service requests, incidents, and problem tickets through to resolution.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining devices, including supporting hardware deployments and refresh projects.
  • Delivering preventative maintenance and break/fix support for customer equipment.
  • Maintaining accurate ticket updates and providing timely communication to customers.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, vendors, and project teams to deliver high-quality service.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with company processes and standards.

Location: Robinhood, Dublin (5 days in the office)

Type: Full-time, Fixed-Term (3 Months – with an opportunity to transition to permanent employment based on performance and business needs)

What You’ll be doing:
  • Providing remote and onsite technical support across print and personal computing environments.
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and technical issues within agreed service levels.

What We’re looking for:
  • Manual driving licence is essential
