Job summary

Gourmet Food Parlour is seeking an enthusiastic HR Administrator to join our Santry Head Office. This junior role supports day-to-day HR activities across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contracts, and records management.

You will work closely with the HR Manager, help maintain GDPR-compliant files, assist with training tracking, and contribute to improving HR processes as the business grows. This is a great entry point for a recent graduate aiming to build a long-term HR career.

Qualifications

• HR qualification (degree/diploma) required or desirable.
• Recent graduates welcome to apply.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Professional and discreet handling of confidential information.
• Proactive, task-oriented and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, employment contracts and required documentation for new starters.
• Maintain accurate employee records across HR systems and files.
• Manage resignations, annual leave, protected leave and contract changes.
• Prepare employment letters, HR correspondence and reports.
• Respond to routine employee and manager queries; escalate complex matters.
• Monitor employee training completion and follow up on outstanding requirements.
• Track documentation and employment-permission expiry dates, flag issues to HR Manager.
• Assist with GDPR-compliant records and employee processes.
• Support HR meetings, communications and wider team initiatives.
• Contribute to improving HR processes as the business grows.
