Job summary

Conaty Food and Catering Supplies is seeking an HR Generalist to join our Blanchardstown site and work with the HR Team. The role focuses on recruitment, onboarding, ER compliance and HR data management.

You will manage right-to-work checks, maintain HR records, and support Health & Safety and HACCP compliance, while delivering timely HR analytics and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in a HR role.
• Minimum 4 years administrative experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills essential.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Competent working knowledge of MS Office.
• Strong written/numerical/analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment & selection processes, ensure job posts are accurate and refreshed, arrange interviews and communicate with candidates.
• Manage onboarding for new recruits including induction, PPE, and HR documentation.
• Oversee employee relations, ensure compliance with employment legislation and right to work processes.
• Maintain accurate employee headcount and robust systems for compliance.
• Create and update HR metrics to address upcoming challenges.
• Monitor Health & Safety and HACCP processes and carry out training as required.
• Maintain employee database and training records for health, safety and compliance.
• Ensure HACCP documentation is up to date.
• Resolve payroll queries and handle ad hoc duties as they arise.

Conaty Food and Catering Supplies is one of Ireland's leading catering suppliers into the hospitality industry. Established in 1970, Conaty Food and Catering Supplies delivers more than 18,000 catering, food and equipment products into our customer base of over 2,000 hotels, bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Our Blanchardstown depot hosts Ireland’s largest hospitality showrooms.

Due to the continued expansion of our businesses, we are seeking to recruit an HR Generalist to work with our HR Team at our Blanchardstown site.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Co-ordinate the recruitment & selection process, ensuring job posts are accurate and refreshed, interviews are arranged and that candidate communication is timely and professional.

Manage the onboarding process for new recruits to include meet and greet of new hires, preparing induction documentation, scheduling training, PPE provision, completing HR documentation etc..

Manage all aspects of employee relations taking full responsibility in ensuring that all practices and documentation is compliant with current employment legislation.

Take full responsibility in ensuring that our employee headcount is compliant with all right to work processes and ensure robust systems are in place to manage this.

Create and continuously update key HR metrics to ensure solutions to any upcoming challenge is identified.

Monitor and take action as required on Health, Safety and HACCP processes and procedures

Carry out Manual Handling training for new starters and existing employees.

Maintain our employee database, ensuring all information is continuously updated.

Manage Health & Safety and compliance training records for new recruits and existing employees.

Ensure all HACCP documentation is up to date and completed to the required standard.

Resolve queries submitted by payroll.

Carry out all other ad hoc duties as they arise.
