Job summary

HireHive in Oranmore, Galway is seeking a part-time HR Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of the People & Development department, covering recruitment, onboarding, employee records, payroll data accuracy, and HR compliance.

You will serve as a key contact for employees and management on HR matters, maintain confidentiality, and assist with training, benefits, and performance processes in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in HR or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Maintain employee records and confidential HR documentation.
  • Administer benefits, leave management, and attendance records.
  • Support performance management processes, appraisals, and improvement plans.
  • Handle employee relations issues and assist in conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and HR policies.
  • Coordinate training and development programs.
  • Assist in developing HR policies and procedures.
  • Prepare HR reports and maintain HR metrics.
  • Support payroll by providing accurate data and resolving queries.
  • Facilitate employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
  • Conduct exit interviews and support offboarding.

Job Summary

The HR Administrator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the People & Development department. This role manages various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, compensation and benefits administration, HR compliance, and maintaining employee records. The HR Administrator serves as a key point of contact for employees and management on HR-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is accurate and confidential.
  • Administer employee benefits, leave management, and attendance records.
  • Support performance management processes, including appraisals and performance improvement plans.
  • Handle employee relations issues and assist in conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Human Resources or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of performance management systems.
