Job summary

Fortivum, a growing engineering consultancy, seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to work on data centre and critical infrastructure projects in Ireland and Europe. You will collaborate with senior engineers, develop your technical skills, and take increasing responsibility for design packages.

Responsibilities include producing electrical drawings, LV/MV distribution, lighting, small power, coordination with mechanical and architectural disciplines, and contributing to design reports.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1-2 years' experience in an electrical engineering consultancy.
• Good understanding of electrical building services.

You will work alongside experienced engineers on the electrical design of large-scale data centre and critical infrastructure projects, developing your technical skills and taking increasing responsibility for your own design packages.

• Good knowledge of relevant electrical standards.
• Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail.
