Leap29 is seeking a Principal / Associate Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for data centres and critical infrastructure in Dublin. You will design resilient HV/LV power systems, UPS, generator backups, and switchgear for hyperscale clients, collaborating with global tech companies.

You will mentor junior engineers, lead multidisciplinary teams, and progress along a defined career path with full support for professional development and CEng chartership.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
• Experience: Strong background in data centres or critical power systems.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in ETAP, Amtech, AutoCAD, Revit, or Dialux.

Responsibilities

• Design high reliability HV/LV power distribution networks, standby power, and UPS systems.
• Perform complex electrical calculations, fault analysis, cable sizing, and protection coordination.
• Oversee design deliverables, ensure quality assurance, and collaborate across MEP disciplines.
• Engage with major clients and key project stakeholders.
