Trustap, an Irish fintech, is seeking a Junior Account Executive in Dublin to manage inbound sales inquiries, assess fit, and guide opportunities from enquiry to signed agreement. You will work with our VP of Sales to sharpen discovery, deliver product demonstrations, and build compelling proposals.
You’ll learn negotiation, pricing considerations, and how to move customers from inquiry to go-live, gaining hands-on experience in a rapidly growing fintech.
Trustap is an Irish fintech helping marketplaces and e-commerce businesses make online transactions safer and more profitable. Our platform brings together payments, fraud prevention, fulfilment tracking and customer support, helping businesses reduce costs and giving buyers and sellers greater confidence when they transact.
Founded in Cork, we now work with customers internationally, with a team across Ireland, the UK, Europe and the US. In June 2026, we raised $10 million in funding led by Aperture Capital to support product development and team expansion, including technology that enables purchases through AI agents.
We’re building a business in a market where trust, cost and customer experience directly affect whether a sale happens. Our sales team works with founders and commercial leaders to understand those challenges and show where Trustap can make a measurable difference.
You’ve gained experience in sales and are ready for your next step. That might mean moving from a BDR or SDR role into closing, or bringing your sales experience from another industry into tech.
As our Junior Account Executive, your primary responsibility will be managing Trustap’s inbound sales pipeline. You’ll be the first commercial contact for businesses interested in Trustap, understanding their needs, assessing fit and guiding qualified opportunities from initial enquiry through to a signed agreement.
Working closely with our VP of Sales, you’ll develop your skills in discovery, product demonstrations, commercial proposals and negotiation. You’ll own the follow-through on inbound interest, with coaching to help you build product knowledge, make sound qualification decisions and win new customers.
We welcome applicants from both tech and other industries. Previous experience in payments or a closing role is not required. We’re looking for evidence of sales ability, sound judgement and a willingness to learn.
Success means responding promptly to enquiries, qualifying accurately and keeping opportunities moving with clear next steps. As you ramp, you’ll be measured on conversion through the sales process, new customers won and revenue delivered against agreed targets. You’ll also maintain a reliable CRM and give the team a clear view of your pipeline. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week in our Dublin office.
