Job summary

Version 1, based in Ireland, seeks an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using AWS and relational databases. The role includes batch processing systems and collaboration with product managers, QA, and other developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Java Developer in product development or services.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and Event Bus.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) including SQL and performance troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Experience with batch processing frameworks and tools.
• Python experience (minimum 2 years).
