Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Senior Data Architect to guide client solution delivery, translating business requirements into scalable data architectures and BI platforms. You will lead design, ETL, and data governance across multiple industries with frequent client engagement.

The role involves data modelling, cloud infrastructure, and collaboration with data science, AI and ML teams while mentoring a team and delivering high‑quality solutions within agile cycles.

Qualifications

• Experience with data solution architecture, design and rollout.
• Experience with business intelligence tools, data modelling, data staging and data extraction processes, including data warehouse and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with multi-dimensional design, star schemas, facts and dimensions.
• Experience and demonstrated competency in ETL development techniques.
• Experience in data warehouse performance optimisation.
• Understanding of data management best practice, including experience with data profiling, sourcing and cleansing routines using typical data quality functions involving standardisation, transformation, rationalisation, linking and matching.
• Knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AxoWS or Oracle Cloud, R and Python.
• Experience on projects across a variety of industry sectors

Job description

As a Senior Data Architect, you will be responsible for providing architecture guidance on client solution delivery engagements, with regular client and customer engagement. This will involve ongoing analysis of business requirements throughout the lifetime of the service.
