Job summary

GitLab is seeking an Italian-speaking Business Development Representative to drive outbound prospecting for our DevSecOps platform. This 100% remote role will base in the UK, Ireland, Spain, France, the Netherlands, or other eligible locations, and collaborate with global Field, Digital Marketing, and Sales teams.

You will generate qualified meetings, manage multi-channel outreach, and nurture opportunities from target accounts, with a strong emphasis on English-language collaboration and travel

Qualifications

• Fluency in Italian is required.
• Experience in outbound sales development is required.
• Strong phone, listening and writing skills are essential.
• Ability to manage high outreach volumes and prioritize tasks.
• Proven initiative and project ownership in a remote setting.
• Alignment with company values and culture is important.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Sales Navigator and Outreach is expected.
• Willingness to travel for events as needed.
• English proficiency is required for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Execute outbound prospecting to generate qualified meetings and pipeline.
• Create New Logo and Growth opportunities from target accounts.
• Lead high-level discovery calls to qualify opportunities.
• Meet SAO targets by converting prospects into opportunities.
• Research target accounts and tailor outreach strategies.
• Run multi-touch outreach via call, email, and social channels.
• Track all activities in Salesforce for visibility and forecasting.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to build lists and campaigns.
• Document and improve BDR processes and mentor new hires.
