Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an Italian-speaking Accounts Receivable Associate to join the Finance function on a 12‑month temporary contract in Cork. The role focuses on credit and collections, ensuring accurate and compliant execution of AR activities across the organisation.

Immediate availability or very short notice is preferred. The successful candidate will manage AR billings, master data, payments, and related queries, while supporting daily cash application and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in Italian and English.
• 2–3 years in Order-to-Cash or Finance with credit management exposure.
• Degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent.
• Experience delivering operational process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as AR subject matter expert for billings, master data, payments, and related queries.
• Analyze outstanding balances to set daily collection priorities and contact clients via phone and email.
• Identify and resolve invoice, credit note, or payment discrepancies to keep accounts active.
• Perform daily cash application and reconcile incoming payments.
• Oversee intake, validation, and processing of customer master data requests.
• Track KPIs and report metrics to stakeholders to support improvement.
• Contribute to AR projects to drive efficiency, quality, and compliance.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new team members.
• Support business transformation and digital tool adoption within the function.
• Ensure adherence to controls, documentation, and compliance frameworks.
