Job summary

ThreatDown in Cork, Ireland, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the finance team. You will manage customer queries, billing issues and overdue balances while supporting AR processes in a multinational environment.

The role offers hybrid work in Cork (2 days per week), with a starting salary of €35,800 and opportunities to improve AR processes and reports. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, reconciliations and collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve queries from internal stakeholders and customers in AR inboxes.
• Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices by following up on overdue balances.
• Communicate professionally with international customers regarding outstanding invoices, payment status, account queries and disputes.
• Monitor and review customer credit card payments; follow up on declined or unsuccessful payments; escalate issues to Support Team.
• Work closely with Sales, OM and Finance teams to resolve billing and collection issues.
• Support month-end closing processes by performing AR reconciliations and other account reconciliations.
• Support audits by providing accurate documentation and account information.
• Identify opportunities to improve AR processes, automation, reporting and efficiency.
• Participate in projects across the global organization.
