Methodius Ltd seeks an experienced IT Application Support Engineer with fluent German to join the EMEA Customer Care team, supporting mission-critical medical applications used by hospitals across the EU. Based in the state-of-the-art Donegal Global Delivery Centre, you’ll work in an environment where reliability, precision, and responsiveness directly impact patient care.

Hybrid role in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.

Qualifications

• Experience providing application support in a technical environment.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux, databases, storage, and infrastructure basics.
• Experience with ticketing and remote support tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-service skills.
• German (B2+) and English (B2+) proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line application support for healthcare systems.
• Log, track, and prioritize incidents using ITSM tools in line with SLAs.
• Perform basic troubleshooting across applications, databases, storage, and OS environments.
• Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams with clear documentation.
• Monitor systems and respond to alerts to prevent downtime.
• Maintain knowledge base documentation and support continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data security and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, integration, and application teams.
