Job summary

Stripe in Dublin is seeking a Tier 1 IT Support Engineer to join the CorpTech Services team. You will provide technical assistance for computer systems, hardware, and software, and deliver in-person helpdesk support to employees and contractors.

The role requires 2+ years in IT HelpDesk, strong knowledge of Apple systems and Google Workspace, and experience with JIRA/Confluence. You will help onboard new hires, maintain IT documentation, and support SaaS tools across Stripe offices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT HelpDesk experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Apple systems.
• Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, JIRA, Confluence, or similar cloud providers.
• Strong working knowledge of Atlassian systems (JIRA and Confluence).
• Understanding of script execution and troubleshooting (e.g., Ruby, Bash, Python).
• Imaging/endpoint management tools (DEP, Munki, Chef, JAMF).
• Ability to independently manage and prioritize workload and projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Empathetic, humble, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Respond to queries in person, email, Slack, or ticketing system.
• Provide in-person IT HelpDesk support to Stripe employees and contractors.
• Walk users through problem-solving steps and ensure issues are resolved.
• Run diagnostic programs and troubleshoot IT scripts, systems, or automation.
• Maintain and support SaaS tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, JIRA, Confluence).
• Troubleshoot Stripe-provided hardware (macOS, Chrome OS, iOS, peripherals).
• Onboard new hires and assist with training curriculum.
