Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Tier 1 Support Engineer for its MXC CorpTech Services team in Ireland. This role provides in-person, thoughtful IT assistance for computer systems, hardware and software, supporting employees, contractors and vendors.

You will respond to queries via multiple channels, run diagnostics, and maintain documentation. A proactive, customer-focused mindset and strong problem-solving abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT HelpDesk experience.
• Solid knowledge of Apple systems and software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; customer focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support for issues related to computer systems, software and hardware.
• Respond to queries in person, email, Slack or ticketing system.
• Provide in-person IT HelpDesk support for Stripe employees, contingent workers and vendors.
• Guide users through problem-solving steps and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Run diagnostics and troubleshoot scripts, systems, or automation.
• Maintain SaaS tools including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, JIRA, Confluence.
• Troubleshoot Stripe hardware (macOS, Chrome OS, iOS, peripherals).
• Facilitate provisioning of laptops for onboarding and fleet upgrades.
• Assist with onboarding and training content for new hires.
• Update IT documentation and onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Onboard and support third-party vendors/contractors.
• Contribute to global IT off-boarding tasks.
• Manage office technology and peripherals; maintain asset records.
• Escalate inquiries to IT Systems if needed.
• Create/update technology docs for internal teams and Scale employees.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
