IT Project Delivery Lead

Job summary

Coillte ICT seeks a capable Project Manager to lead delivery of technical projects and workstreams. You will manage IT changes within agreed scope, time, cost, quality, risk and governance, and communicate with sponsors, Steering group, and contributors.

Reporting to the Technical Solutions Project Lead, you will oversee project life cycles from inception to maintenance, coordinate internal teams and external vendors, and ensure value delivery aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Information Technology or Business to HETAC Level 7.
• PMP or Prince2 certification preferred; practical knowledge of delivery methodologies (waterfall, agile or hybrid).
• Understanding ICT governance and cybersecurity; compliance with GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership on multiple projects across the full life cycle.
• Develop scopes/objectives with stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility.
• Create detailed project plans to meet deadlines and milestones.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for delivery.
• Identify/monitor risks and manage changes to constraints.
• Communicate status to sponsors and governance bodies regularly.
• Manage project budgets and align with business objectives.
• Lead project team to deliver outcomes and drive improvements.
