Job summary

Inspired is a market-leading, technology-enabled provider of energy and sustainability solutions. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join Horizon Energy/SystemsLink in Ireland.

The role is home-based with travel across Ireland and focuses on software and professional services sales across Daisy and Inspired cross-sales. You will work with Horizon Energy Ireland to identify opportunities, grow SystemsLink’s presence, manage the full sales cycle and deliver sustainable revenue growth

Qualifications

• Essential: Proven success in B2B SaaS or software sales.
• Essential: Strong prospecting, qualification and closing skills.
• Essential: Ability to manage a structured sales pipeline, forecast, and hit revenue targets.
• Desirable: Experience selling SaaS in the Irish market.
• Desirable: Knowledge of energy, sustainability, carbon, or environmental data management.

Responsibilities

• Develop SystemsLink’s market position in Ireland by identifying target sectors and prospective customers.
• Generate, qualify and progress new SaaS sales opportunities through the full sales pipeline.
• Respond to formal inbound tender requests.
• Engage senior stakeholders to understand their needs and articulate the value of SystemsLink’s software.
• Deliver tailored software demonstrations, presentations and proposals.
• Manage commercial negotiations and SaaS contract discussions through to signature.
• Maintain CRM opportunity data and forecast progress against targets.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, implementation and customer teams to support acquisition and smooth handover.
