Job summary

MOrgan McKinley in Dublin is seeking a Depository Operations Officer to join a growing financial services team. You will support fund operations, monitor transactions, and ensure regulatory requirements are met, helping the investment funds function smoothly.

Ideal candidates have experience in fund administration or depositary services, strong attention to detail, and solid Excel skills. You will collaborate with fund administrators, managers and custodians to resolve issues and maintain

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, fund administration, depositary services or investment operations.
• A basic understanding of investment funds and how they operate.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with different teams.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• A proactive approach to work and an interest in regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the day-to-day activities of investment funds.
• Review fund transactions, cash movements and account balances.
• Carry out checks to ensure fund activities are accurate and in line with procedures.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve operational issues.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and fund documentation.
• Work with fund administrators, investment managers and custodians to resolve queries.
• Identify and escal any issues, risks or breaches.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
• Help improve processes and operational controls.
