Morgan McKinley is hiring a Depositary Officer on a six-month contract in Ireland. The role focuses on depositary operations, cash monitoring, oversight and asset verification within the alternative investment funds space.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of relevant experience, a finance or accounting degree, and strong Excel and communication skills. The role offers mentoring and development support within a collaborative financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in the alternative investment funds industry.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related discipline.
• Strong MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently when required.

Responsabilités

• Perform day-to-day depositary operations, including cash monitoring, investment oversight and asset verification/safekeeping.
• Review daily cash transactions and analyse associated cash flows.
• Review investor and investment transactions to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, client objectives and investment restrictions.
• Review NAV calculations to ensure appropriate controls have been applied.
• Review investment documentation to verify asset ownership and ensure records are maintained accurately.
• Support additional operational activities and contribute to the depositary function.
