Elk Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sales person for building materials based in Co. Meath. The role involves showroom guidance, handling inquiries, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.

The candidate will work with internal and external teams to grow the business, manage CRM records, and support sales reporting. Strong communication and product knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in internal sales in building materials or construction.
• Strong knowledge of building materials products and industry standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in the showroom with expert guidance on bathroom and plumbing products.
• Manage incoming sales inquiries and provide timely information on building materials.
• Cold calling customers with promotions, new products and business development.
• Process customer orders efficiently while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with external sales reps to support customer relationships.
• Provide product knowledge to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• Maintain customer records and sales documentation in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams for availability and delivery.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to maintain satisfaction.
• Support sales reporting and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
