Job summary

BMS Performance Ireland is seeking an Internal Sales & Customer Service Advisor in North Dublin to join a growing global science organisation.

The role covers handling enquiries, quotations, orders, deliveries and aftersales support with training provided. Initially office-based five days a week, moving to hybrid working on completion of training. A degree and strong communication are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in the scientific sector, ideally degree qualified.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving ability.
• A confident and professional telephone manner.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple customer queries and priorities at once.
• Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Handling customer queries via phone and email and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently
• Preparing quotations and processing sales orders accurately
• Selling entry-level laboratory equipment to customers over the phone
• Maintaining accurate customer records and managing quotation administration
• Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers to coordinate deliveries
• Supporting with pricing discrepancies and credit control queries when required
• Monitoring consignment stock levels and organising replenishment
• Providing ongoing sales and customer service support to the wider commercial team
