Job summary

AXA Ireland is seeking an Insurance Representative based in our Cork Midleton Branch Office for a 12-month contract with full training provided. You will work face-to-face with customers, promote branch profitability and handle in-branch and phone engagements to grow the client base.

The role requires strong customer service, good communication skills and a willingness to learn, with a base salary of €30,600 and a performance-related bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum essential requirement of leaving cert including Maths & English.
• Customer service experience is essential.
• Knowledge of the insurance sector and branch administration would be beneficial.
• Strong customer service skills, face-to-face and telephone interaction, selling, and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Spend time in the Midleton branch engaging with customers face to face and over the telephone.
• Promote branch profitability and community presence to achieve targets.
• Provide professional, sales-driven face-to-face customer service to attract and retain clients.
• Maximise customer engagement through in-branch visits, phone, and outbound activities.
• Optimise cross-selling and upselling opportunities to add value to interactions.
• Encourage self-service and a customer-first approach to reduce non-value activities.
• Leverage local relationships via MS Teams, phone and visits to engage customers.
• Build trusted relationships via community engagement to support branch growth.
• Prioritise workloads to meet product-specific and overall objectives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legislative and internal policies.
• Manage cash handling and expenses in line with procedures.
• Participate in cross-departmental projects as needed.
• Analyse local market data to identify trends and improvements.
