Oliver James Group is seeking a qualified accountant to lead monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting, including coordination of audits and regulatory submissions. The role focuses on Irish GAAP, Solvency II reporting, and strengthening financial controls across the group.

The successful candidate will manage multiple stakeholders, ensure accurate month-end close, and contribute to finance transformation initiatives within a Dublin-based, hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in financial accounting and external reporting.
• Knowledge of Irish GAAP (FRS 102/103) and Solvency II is advantageous.
• Experience coordinating internal and external audits.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting cycles to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Compile financial reports and analyses for senior leadership, Audit and Board committees.
• Coordinate internal and external audit engagements and provide required documentation.
• Perform reviews of key balance sheet accounts and reconciliations with proper evidence.
• Assist with statutory annual financial statements under Irish GAAP (FRS 102/103).
• Prepare GAAP-adjusted financial information for tax reporting and regulatory submissions.
• Contribute to Solvency II reporting to CBI and PRA and other regulatory obligations.
• Strengthen financial controls and procedures within the control framework.
• Support finance change initiatives to improve processes and reporting capabilities.
