CPL in Dublin is seeking a Senior Financial Controller on a 15-18 month contract within a major Irish banking group. The role sits in Group Financial Control and leads monthly, quarterly and half-year close with focus on accuracy and timeliness.

The successful candidate will own statutory and FinRep processes, manage subsidiary audits, and collaborate with stakeholders across Finance and external auditors. Hybrid work from Dublin with work-from-anywhere in ROI.

Formación

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience leading a team in Financial Control or similar.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge applicable to group reporting (Statutory, FinRep).
• Proven ability to meet tight reporting deadlines while juggling priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills, across levels.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Group's monthly, quarterly and half-year close for the Group Financial Control team.
• Own Primary Statements, Statutory and FinRep close processes with strong reviews and controls.
• Identify, understand and mitigate risks across end-to-end processes.
• Lead preparation of subsidiary statutory accounts, including audit governance and presenting to audit committees.
• Build strong relationships with Finance, Group stakeholders and external auditors.
• Collaborate with Commercial Partnering to drive process improvements and efficiencies.
• Contribute to the team’s strategic initiatives and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
