Morgan McKinley is recruiting an Insurance Scheme Specialist for our Dublin Central office. The role focuses on managing renewals, handling new business, and mid-term adjustments for a large affinity scheme, with emphasis on relationship-building and technical accuracy.
Onsite Monday to Friday during the initial months, you will work a structured 36.25-hour week and support regulatory deadlines with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
Most personal lines insurance roles feel like a numbers game—chasing cold leads, dealing with high customer churn, and pushing for quick sales. This is completely different. We are partnering with one of Ireland's largest and most stable semi-state organisations to find an insurance professional who prefers building real relationships over hitting aggressive outbound sales targets.
The firm runs one of the largest national affinity schemes in the country, looking after the personal home and motor policies for their vast community of current and retired staff. You will take ownership of this dedicated pool of members, managing their renewals, processing new business, and handling mid-term adjustments.
Because these customers genuinely value the internal scheme, your day is focused on clear communication, technical accuracy, and solving real problems rather than hard selling. You will keep this essential service running steadily, ensuring members receive the care and attention they expect.
We need someone who can step in and understand the nuances of personal insurance policies from day one.
This is a fixed-term contract with a supportive team operating out of a landmark head office in Dublin. Because of the collaborative, community-focused nature of the scheme, this position will require being onsite Monday to Friday for at least the first several months.
Your core hours are highly structured—8:45 AM to 4:45 PM—giving you a predictable 36.25-hour working week with a full hour for lunch. Because Central Bank rules dictate strict timelines for sending out renewal notices, you should expect around 10 hours of overtime per month to help the team meet these regulatory deadlines.
