Job summary

Centrica plc, operating as Bord Gáis Energy in Ireland, is hiring an Operations Coordinator (Installations) to join our Local Heroes and Net Zero teams. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers and installers, coordinate installation activities, and help deliver a seamless end-to-end journey across our installation ecosystem.

You’ll analyze data to identify improvements, manage stakeholder relationships, and support boiler and EV installations while ensuring quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Customer Service/Operations or similar analytical role.
• Salesforce experience preferred (navigation, case management, dashboards & reporting).
• Team-oriented with ability to provide ground support for sales and operations.
• Aptitude for identifying gaps and implementing solutions.
• Ability to utilise technology to build solutions.
• Attention to detail while handling multiple projects under deadline pressure.
• Growth mindset with adaptability in a changing environment.
• Experience working with contractors or third parties.
• Demonstrable experience of using data (Business Intelligence) to inform decisions.
• Experience from customer operations, sales support, installations, or fast-paced environments with strong commercial awareness and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support to customers and installers, resolving queries, issues, and complaints.
• Coordinate installation schedules, surveys, and communication across customers, installers, and field teams.
• Build strong relationships with installers, surveyors, and trade partners to support business growth.
• Monitor service quality and compliance, ensuring partners meet standards and deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Support the delivery of boiler and EV installations, ensuring a smooth end-to-end journey.
• Analyse operational performance, identify root causes, and help implement improvements.
• Drive initiatives to reduce complaints and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure orders are fulfilled and delivery timelines are met.
• Track and contribute to the achievement of key operational and customer service metrics.
