Job summary

Actavo is seeking a field technician in Dublin to install telecommunication cable and equipment following training. You will deliver a high-quality customer experience from initial call through job completion, reporting progress with field apps and attending ongoing training.

The role requires a manual driver’s license, experience with hand and power tools, and strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install telecommunications cable and equipment as trained.
• Deliver an excellent customer experience from first call to job completion.
• Use field apps to report activity and works completed.
• Upskill and attend training courses.
• Take care to prevent loss or damage on customer properties.
• Timely accident reporting and safety compliance.
• Track faults using provided devices and tools.
• Use power tools and ladders safely.
• Maintain a clean and presentable appearance.
• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures.

What we offer

• Weekly pay based on previous weeks completed work
• Weeks 1-4 Training rate of €14.15 per hour
• Week 5 to end of month 5 - Field training rate of €14.42 per hour
• Rate card payable from week 5
• Avg earnings on rate card at month 6 is €39k per annum (5 day week Mon-Sat)
• Avg earnings on rate card at month 10 is €47k per annum (5 day week Mon-Sat)
• Double pay on Sunday's

Responsibilities

• Installing telecommunication cable and equipment as per training
• Deliver an excellent customer experience from initial phone call to job completionl
• Using field apps to report back on activity and works completed
• Upskill and attending various training courses
• Take due care to prevent loss or damage when working on a customer’s property
• Timely accident reporting
• Track faults using devices and tools provided
• Using power tools and ladders safely
• Maintain a clean and presentable appearance always
• Adhere to and maintain compliance with all Health and Safety procedures

Requirements
