Job summary

Circet Ireland is hiring Installation Technicians to deliver full fibre broadband installations in Munster (Clare / Kerry). You will survey, install, test and troubleshoot to ensure top‑quality service and customer satisfaction.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with training provided. A full driving licence is required; outdoor work in variable weather and a strong safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Full clean driving licence (manual).
• Authorisation to work in Ireland.
• Comfort with heights and heavy lifting in varying weather.
• Telecoms background preferred; training provided for beginners.
• Strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Organise daily and weekly schedules for installations and repairs.
• Work outdoors in a physically demanding role and variable weather.
• Maintain high standards of customer service in all interactions.
• Perform full broadband installations: surveying, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct site inspections to assess feasibility and safety risks.
• Participate in team meetings and share feedback to improve service.

• Resolve client complaints promptly and professionally.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

We Are Hiring!

Circet Ireland and UK are currently hiring for Installations Technicians in Munster(Clare / Kerry). As an Installation Technician, you will deliver cutting edge full fibre broadband installation and repair services, prioritising a seamless customer experience and ensuring Circet's industry-leading standards of health & safety are upheld.

Installation Technicians work 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, including rotating Saturdays.

Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities of an Installation Technician:

• Organise your daily and weekly work schedule to ensure timely and efficient installations and repairs, aligning with client expectations and business goals.
• Work outdoors in a very physically demanding role and potentially adverse weather conditions to complete multiple installations per day.
• Maintain high standards of customer service by ensuring all interactions with residents, clients, and third-party stakeholders are professional and solution focused.
• Expertly perform full broadband installations, including surveying, testing, and troubleshooting, ensuring adherence to quality and industry standards.
• Conduct site inspections to assess installation feasibility, evaluate infrastructure conditions, and provide risk assessments, ensuring full compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Participate in team meetings, providing feedback and collaborating with colleagues and managers to improve performance and enhance customer experience.
• Consistently meet Circet's safety standards, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks in the field.
• Resolve client and customer complaints promptly and professionally, maintaining strong relationships and high satisfaction levels.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.

Requirements:

• Full Clean Driving License (Manual).
• Authorisation/Permit to work in Ireland.
• Ability to excel in a very physically demanding role that requires regular pole/ladder climbing, working underground and manual handling of heavy weight in potentially adverse weather conditions.
• Strong customer-facing skills and ability to interpret customer requirements regardless of their technical knowledge.
• A telecoms background is preferred, but we will train technicians who are brand new to the industry with the right attitude, personality and transferrable skillset.
• Good base understanding of the importance of Health & Safety in engineering.
• Comfort and ability to work at heights.
