Job summary
Irish Wheelchair Association seeks a motivated Programme Assistant/Driver in Limerick to lead daily activity programmes and transport participants to and from the Centre. You will work closely with staff to deliver activation services, manage records, and support fundraising initiatives.
Essential QQI Level 5 in HealthCare Support and a Category D driving licence; experience with databases and MS Office is desirable.
Qualifications
- Full QQI level 5 in HealthCare Support or similar qualification is essential.
- Category D Drivers Licence is highly desirable.
- Full Category B driving license and willingness to learn to drive IWA buses are essential.
- Experience with databases and Microsoft Office suite desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of programme activities in the Community Centre and manage daily programmes.
- Network with local resources (colleges) to develop new programmes.
- Assist the Service Coordinator with fundraising initiatives and administrative duties.
- Transport participants to Centre activities and on annual holidays/outings.
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed and safeguarding policies are observed.
