Job summary

The Irish Wheelchair Association is seeking a dedicated individual for a part-time role in Roscommon, offering 10 hours a week to assist female members in achieving maximum independence in daily living.

Responsibilities include providing personal care, domestic support, and companionship. A Major Award at QQI Level 5 is required, along with experience in caring roles. The pay ranges from €16.22 to €18.03 per hour depending on experience, with additional pay for evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people in a caring role is essential.
• Full driver's licence and access to your own car are essential.
• Demonstrate reliability and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Enable female members to achieve maximum independence in daily living.
• Provide assistance in personal care, social, and educational areas.
• Liaise and coordinate with other home carers as required.
