Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Ireland Limited seeks a Project Engineer to plan and design transport projects, based in Dublin or Cork. You’ll contribute to road and active travel schemes, manage contracts, and oversee procurement, contract documents, and construction supervision.

The role requires consultancy experience, an engineering degree (Level 8/9), and progression toward Chartered Engineer status, with proficiency in design tools. Hybrid working is available, offering a balance of office and remote work.

Qualifications

• Relevant consultancy experience.
• Engineering degree (Level 8/9).
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Experience with transport designs (road/active travel).
• Knowledge of design standards and buildable designs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design road and active travel projects across Ireland.
• Manage motorway operation and maintenance contracts.
• Prepare contract documents and procurement processes.
• Administer contracts and provide construction supervision.
• Oversee production of designs and report writing.
