Job summary

XPO Logistics is looking for a Transport Planner to co-ordinate transport operations across Road, Rail and Container modalities to meet contractual delivery times. The role is Monday to Friday 09:00–17:30 with on-call duties on a shared rota after three months, and it offers a hybrid working setup.

Responsibilities

• Plan and dispatch routes across Road/Rail and Container modalities.
• Maintain accuracy in administrative traffic duties.
• Address defected deliveries, vehicles, and procedures as required.
• Assist in weekly and monthly KPIs and use XPO IT systems.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Identify and highlight potential improvement opportunities.
• Uphold company values and participate in training.
