Job summary

WSP seeks a Principal Transport Planner in Ireland to lead transport planning projects across the UK and Ireland, acting as Project Manager or Technical Lead. Based in Dublin or Naas with hybrid work, you will drive multi-disciplinary schemes and bids while mentoring junior staff and growing the Irish team.

You will collaborate with UK colleagues, oversee financial performance, and contribute to strategic growth across Public Transport, Active Travel, and Freight sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience leading active travel schemes.
• Experience developing transport strategies and policies.
• Experience in business case development and transport assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and commercial aspects of projects.
• Manage financial performance of projects.
• Mentor junior team members and support team growth.
• Engage with clients to win work and build relationships.
• Deliver transport planning bids as Bid Manager.
